With a muffled 'oomph', Pantaleimon felt the earth being removed from beneath her paws and the rabbit flying from between her teeth. Pan thudded into the ground next to Peregrine, and looked up at him with a shocked expression. "Sorry!" she hastily said with her deep voice and she looked away, feeling unbelievably embarrassed. It was probably a good thing that Peregrine was no longer Alpha, for the embarrassment would've been tenfold.

When Peregrine got off the ground and joked around before asking if she was alright, Pantaleimon quickly picked herself up from the ground as well. "Yes, yes! Are - are you? I'm sorry, when I get into the hunt, uhm..." She tended to get carried away and see nothing but her goal at times, especially when it concerned small prey. Despite her embarrassment, somehow it was easier to get over how silly she felt now that Peregrine was no longer her almighty Alpha. Pan's eyes drifted off towards the dead rabbit and she asked, "Uhm... you hungry?"
