Swift was a much lighter sleeper than his siblings, even when he was in his deepest of sleeps. He was aware of his mother curled around him and sensed her breath with a twitch of his nose as she laid her chin on the floor. When she spoke, his ear swivelled to her, and then he lifted his head and gazed upon his mother's face. He loved his mother, and when he was not busy acting like an old man stuck in his stubborn ways, he had no problem showing her. Like now. He scooted forward to lick her nose, his tail wagging. He understood what she had asked, and nodded. The littlest Frostfur had yet to usher a word. He stood, and turned himself toward the den entrance. Let's go, Mom!
