"Fair enough," he said as the corners of his mouth tugged into a small grin. With that, he had all he needed. If she was more his type he might have tried his paw at coaxing her into a bit of stress relieving fun, but she was not and he highly suspected she'd take his nose off anyway. He dipped his head to her. "Thanks for your time," then turned and made to leave. One ear he twisted back to her, in case she had more to say or otherwise wanted to stop his departure.
