Bearclaw Valley Bubble bubble, toil and trouble

The regime had shifted here and had become more strict under this Raziel's rule. With Scarlett confined with her pups, she could not manage her pack as she had before, leaving her Beta the right time to challenge her mate Kove and take over. That worried Potema, yet excited her at the same time. Her mother's stories had always involved subterfuge and power struggles, and now she had seen it first hand. It was interesting, but it had consequences. Bearclaw Valley was meant to be an outlet of Blackfeather Woods for spying purposes and it seemed to Potema that that dream had failed the moment Kove was demoted and eventually ripped from his seat of power. Sure, his mate was still in charge, but she was nursing her children, and she was no Dark Sister in spirit or in truth.

Potema was near the rocky entrance of the Valley, hopping from rock to rock as she contemplated what to do. Should she poison Raziel and convince Kove to fight him again? That was not within her league, the convincing part at least. She had yet to use the powers of seduction, manipulation, etc.; her priest training came first, that of healing and prayers. But she did not have the approval of her mother either, for they were there to smooth relations, not to instill a revolution. Potema leapt onto a boulder, balancing on its peak, looking over the Valley with her single eye, wondering if she would have anything to say. Then again, she never willed her to come, she came on her own, with her own wisdom, at her own time.
