A leaf had started to capture her attention, it had fallen past Mason's fur when she had scraped him and caused him to be it. June had started to investigate it when his exclamation pulled her away from the intricacies of it's design. "ee ee" Me, me, she echoed - for a second forgetting that she had just tagged him and bopping him again on the closest part of him (his head?).

Then she turned and, focusing on her steps, started to gallop away from the tree - spying a large rock that would be her salvation. Carefully she placed her paws, knowing that she moment she forgot to do so she would stumble and grant him an early victory. She wanted to at least make it to the rock, even if going around it caused her to be caught. Baby steps of progress.
