Redtail Rise in the middle of shadows

Reek had gossip and he had to tell somebody.

He rarely pulled himself away from the waterfall and his lovers embrace, making him an absentee figure in the Rise.  After breaking things off with Wynter, the newly crowned had spent every waking moment alongside Saena. Perhaps he should have felt guilty for jumping ship so fast, but the intimate blur that had become his life after their initial hookup shoved all the negative thoughts right out of his perception. What he shared with Saena was exciting. He was alive.

Reluctantly, he pulled himself away from his sleeping lover and made his way out of the waterfall.  Come winter, he would regret the decision of the location of his new home... however, during the warm summer months the cooling water that buffeted his body on entry and exit was a nice touch.  He swam to shore and made his way up the bank to follow the stream in the hopes he would find someone to spill the beans to.  Anyone.  Well, anyone but Wynter of course.

It wasn't long until Reek picked up on Arion's scent, and his light trot became a fast lope in his direction and into the forest.  "Arion!" he called out excitedly before barreling into the river, and subsequently into him, with a brotherly bump of his shoulder.  "I have gossip— and rule number one of being my friend is you have to listen."
