Redhawk Caldera fish assassin

Pantaleimon had stayed with Fox and Peregrine at the rendezvous site for a good while now. Their children were beginning to feel a little bit as though they were also Pantaleimon's children, and it made the ache in her heart that she would never bear her own all the greater. Perhaps some day she would father children, but considering past experiences, Pantaleimon did not think that it worked that way for her; that she could, even if she wanted to. Time would tell.

Today she made her way to the lake for some fishing, when she noticed Magpie nearby. Pan had intended to go fishing alone, and fidgeted a moment when she saw Magpie, considering dodging her and going fishing on her own a bit further up on the lake. However, Pan soon decided that would be sort of weird, and so she walked up to Magpie, who seemed to be staring at the water -- maybe in thoughts. "Uh, hey," Pan awkwardly said. "Are you... Are you doing anything?" Which sounded really weird, but the words had left her mouth before Pan could stop them. Oh well, nothing she could do about it now. Pan tried to act as casual as she could as she looked at Magpie, her body neutral -- something the ex-Consort was still getting used to around females -- waiting for an answer.
