Had he been aware that Mordecai also wished to speak, he likely would have invited the other to go first. But, as it was, he merely nodded before continuing. "No one spoke up after the meeting, but I know enough to know that doesn't mean no one wished to." He gave a small smile. "I wanted to hear your thoughts, if you had any, or questions. Even advice, if you like." It was a common practice of his to ask such in times such as these, just as he had when he first decided to close their borders to the Caldera so many months ago. He was a leader who welcomed feedback, good or bad, and took it to heart best he could. Though he would still follow the path he thought best, he was not always unswayed.

Unless Mordecai really did have nothing to say. Which Dante would accept, albeit with some disappointment. Knowing the man had led made him automatically a source for advice, no matter how little. No experience was worthless, after all, and all of life only served to make one wiser for the next challenge.
