The girl was still feeling quite nauseated by the sight and smell of dead things, but she was also alert. At the sound of Charon's voice, her head lifted - perhaps too quickly - and then her attention zeroed in on the movement upon the sand. There was some kind of rock with legs racing along the ground.

"Come here! I feel like crab meat," the beta commented, to which Saskia simply tilted her head. She'd never heard of crabs before; was that the rock? Why would he want to eat a rock? How was the rock alive, for that matter? With her desire to puke subdued, she took a few cautious steps towards Charon - all the while keeping her eyes on the skittering object.

"This thing?" she queried, stopping a good distance from it. As if sensing the arrival of the wolf, the crab halted as well. It didn't look like much. The legs were tight against its body, and Saskia was ignorant to the existence of claws upon the creature. "This is food?"
