Ill watched, listened. Even when she felt her brothers gaze, she did not look, not yet. The question asked was a fair one, and one she had been near-expecting. Alertly, Iluq tilted her head and thought of how best to word it. She earned her fathers eloquence... he was well-spoken, and while she could be blunt, his silver-tongue was something Iluq also had learnt to wield despite seldom needing to. 

"My family is strong," she responded, "It is no wonder they would survive it—only a matter of where they survived." That, she felt, was enough. Properly vague to the point that it needed to be, where it would go over his head if he did not know, but they would understand if they did.
