Horizon Ridge The Setting sun (Nuka)

Resting atop a large rock near the water's edge was Nuka. She was used to a far colder land but with her winter coat starting to shed at least sunning herself was a option to help her aching soul. She looked up hearing the leaves crackle under the pads of another. She had only just joined this pack but had made an effort to earn her keep.

She could hunt, and she could defend - but in truth her truest strength came from her ability to help those who needed it. She rolled from her side to lying on her belly with her fromt legs stretched out before her.

"Hello little one." It was no insult, just the mother in her reaching out to a clearly much younger female. "Please don't let me disturb you - I do not believe we have met. My name is Nuka"

Her voice was soft, and gentle - much like her eyes.
