This place did not match his idyllic thoughts on what he had in mind for a permanent den site, but it had all of the discernible features he required. The pieces were there, and while it did not match the vision he held in his mind, he realized the potential and was all the more optimistic for it. And glance in Tonravik's direction told him she was almost sold on this spot. Almost, but not quite. He followed her back up the gentle slopes to see what else she needed to explore in order to feel comfortable and confident in this place.

She turned toward the large, twisting roots of a tree that curled over several large boulders. Between its roots rest the hollow opening of another nook. Was it large enough to house a wolf or two? He glanced towards her as she decided the area was clear enough. When she retreated, he poked his head inside and looked at the space. Roomy. Fair size. Enough room for at the very least the both of them. He looked back at her before he closed the distance between them. A click of his tongue and he tipped his head back towards the hollow in the tangle of roots before he lifted to wrap an arm around her neck and wrestle her back there.
