Burke looked at Meldresi and his children before leaving the den. He would have to do his duties as an alpha. The male wasn't too far away from his den when there was already a wolf calling out for him. The large male trotted towards the border at a calm pace, it was also a test of patience for the one that would howl. Burke was not going to rush because there was someone at their borders. The heavy set male ruffled his fur, as he came closer he started to make more use of the shadows. 

The pale eyes registered the male before him for a moment. After he got a good look he appeared without making a sound. His large frame held high and his docked tail upright to show his position and not to mess with him. He stopped before the male not showing any sign of a greeting or an hello. "You called," he pointed out the obvious, but with that he gave the other permission to speak.
