Their pack grew in number seemingly day by day. While he didn't seem to outwardly appreciate it, inside Atreyu was beaming. It was a nice change of pace, going from a pack of four to...however many they had now. He couldn't quite admit to himself that Charon had been right, but he was starting to see the sense in their moving to the new territory. So far, the Sunspire wolves hadn't proved to be a problem either.
Still, the mountain was taking some getting used to. He was a wolf of sand flats and long ocean shores, unsuited to cliffs and crags — especially with only three legs. The boy stuck to the forests at the base of Moonspear, stalking through the underbrush, scoping out the lower reaches of the territory. Charon and the rest could deal with the zenith. He would map out below.
