I would like for him to make it out of this alive, but am not against him being at risk of dying later on. That being said, feel free to do as much damage as you’d like—or take him as a captive, if that’s what you decide. uwu

A voice came from behind him, muffled by the sound of his rapid heartbeat, but no less understandable. He caught the words and the tone, which only made the thumping in his chest increase. She was taunting him, treating the situation as if it was some sort of sick game. With each second that ticked by, he wished harder and harder that she would grow bored and head back to whatever hell she’d clawed her way out of. He must have committed a terrible sin in a past life, however, because the exact opposite happened. She continued to pursue him, catching up just enough to nip and snap at his heels. The boy’s tail tucked neatly between his legs, and though his body ached and screamed for him to stop, he kept going. Fear-induced adrenaline was the only thing keeping his body from shutting down right then and there, but even that didn’t seem to be capable of aiding him in his escape.

Before Ragdoll could even register what was happening, he felt blunt claws dig into his hide, and it was all over from there. Within milliseconds, he was dragged down to the ground by the sheer weight of the woman, and there was nothing any part of him could do to recover from the hit. His legs buckled under the mass of her body, and he was soon sent tumbling and sliding across the earth. The boy’s left side took most of the blow, and was scraped to high hell in the process, leaving behind bare patches and terrible road rash. So far, he couldn’t feel a thing, the adrenaline like a drug in his system and keeping the true pain he was feeling away. In another attempt to save himself, the hybrid started acting on instinct, squirming around and trying to snap at whatever part of the woman he could get his jaws close to. The movements were completely uncoordinated, revealing his obvious lack of combat training. Still, he kept at it, wanting nothing more than to leave with his life.
