Pack Event- The Mountains were Groaning

Acacia tried to keep pace with the larger male as her feet plastered themselves to the ground. Before them she saw other wolves of whom she had yet to meet, but based on the aura Raheerah's large body gave off with his grunts and determination, she knew they were a checkpoint. The first thought to come to mind was that of when she was a pup. It was the night she was lost.

"Acacia!" her mother called. Acacia ran with might surging through her short legs. The ground was wet and unfamiliar but her mother's face spoke calming psalms as she raced against the dust to meet her. There was a dust wave close behind them, and Acacia's mother knew if they didn't leave now, everyone in their pack would die. "Acacia!"

"I'm here, mom", Acacia thought to herself as she began to swerve into safer land.
