@Taggarik maybe? Anyone who wants to intercept him; feel free to rough him up a bit.
The snow had stopped, finally. He didn't know for how long. Only that the temperature was more mild, and his breath was fainter on the air. The white of the terrain had confused the lowly wanderer - not that he hadn't seen snow before mind you, but Alepue was accustomed to hot days and cold nights, not cold all the time. His pelt was prolific but thin all the same, meant for keeping cool. Climbing a mountain was a foolish thing for the rogue to do. He was an idiot for thinking that there would be shelter somewhere along the passages. He made note of a few strange findings though: there were natural paths in the snow, as if something had passed through only recently; a yellowing to the snow in some spots; and from time to time, Alepue would find long hairs encased by ice upon the trunks of trees. The scents had worn away with the weather, but he knew there were other wolves here somewhere. It was only a matter of finding them. Surely they would not turn away the virile young man? He was an able body, and winter was the most dangerous time of them all - even for a pack.
