Phoenix Maplewood Focus on the Rabbit

Esaro tighten his grip as much as he could before crashing onto the female's tail. She must have tried to dodge him but just wasn't fast enough. However, her efforts allowed him to keep his hold on the rabbit. Quickly he placed his paws on the rabbit to keep it still on the ground and then finished it off once and for all. He finally managed to catch a rabbit all alone he thought. Until he noticed he was on the female's tail. In this case he wasn't exactly alone so it wasn't actually possible to say he did the whole hunt alone.

This was a glorious victory for Esaro even if he had some kind of help. He wanted to express himself so his attention turn towards the fellow pack member. Only when he noticed her expression, he quickly got off her tail. He was likely on it for a couple of seconds. He felt bad for not getting off sooner, he never wanted to hurt anyone besides his prey.

He circled her once then stopped in front. He drop the rabbit in front of her. "I'm really sorry for that, I didn't see you." He said, apologizing. To make it up to her he decided to offer the rabbit he caught. "Here, I was counting on sharing it with whoever I come across. But you can have it all if you want." He said as he push the dead rabbit to her. Esaro victory feeling was overcome by some guilt. It's his fault for not seeing her so he needed to do something in return.
