Laika really did look like a fun wolf to play with. Her movements do say she has energy and it felt like that energy was spilling over onto Esaro. He expressed this energy by leaning side to side once he sat down, he couldn't sit still. If he had never brought the subject of skill he would have likely tried playing so sort of game with her. Instead Esaro got what he asked for. He believed her completely even if she has never shown him her skill level. So far all members he met say they can fight and Esaro likely proved that he didn't have the skills for it.

Every member had talent in something but he didn't find any on his side. The thought made some of his happy feeling disappear. "You've already caught a deer? The largest prey I ever caught was a rabbit. I never hunted as a group, probably because I didn't have talent in hunting. But it feels like it's the same case for everything else. There isn't anything I'm good at, everyone else can do everything better than me." He said as he looked away from Laika. He was being honest with himself and it was really what he believed and it all felt true.
