Qeya River Vatican City

Anwyl's last encounter had been in a strange forest full of medicinal plants. It had been surprisingly green for this time of year, he liked it. The greens of spring and summer were his most favorite colors after all. However this place lacked in green by a lot. Icy silver covered a shimmering river as he broke out of the tree line. The bright sunlight streamed down on its expansive surface, making it look like a sparkly diamond. His piercing blue eyes widened at the marvelous sight, he held up a paw hesitantly. He was scared to step off of the muddy grass and onto the frozen river, but he was very curious none the less.

He cautiously placed one paw on the frozen river, it was cold and hard (like my soul ;)), and it made his whole body shiver. He scanned the entire river, mapping it in his mind. It looked like it might even be cold like this all year long. Maybe even frozen. He took light footsteps, watching as a fish floated around underneath. It was always exciting, finding new things. Anwyl loved his job, exploring and everything. It was what he was meant to do.
