@Hecate finishing up right where the joining thread left off :)

Once again had she been summoned to give another grand tour, like she knew every rock and crevice Blackfeather had to offer. Why Burke chose her to represent their pack seemed a little less obvious. She was humble, why her? Damien seemed more than eager to fulfill responsibility and probably had the whole Beta thing going for him. The idea send a pang of jealousy, though she quickly shoved it away. She had no right, and she was fine with whatever rank, task or babysitting mission Burke threw at her. She arrived just in time to hear her name being spoken, and the same two weeks rule had been applied. Yet, Burke had seemed more adamant about it than the last few interviews. If this one was a cripple, she was sure to smack herself. A perfect stop given to someone who couldn't even pull their own weight? Who would hunt for her never mind approve her at all. Yet, Burke always had a reason and she respected that. He was kind of a wise grandfather-- though she quickly scrapped that idea, as she was sure the title "grandfather" would not suit his interest.

She stepped through the trees, eyeing the female. She would not simply have trust for new members, it just didn't work like that. Trust was earned, refined and she could not simply throw it away to any wolf that may end up ditching them or dying. Ayana, Misty, the witchy-woo twins, Lusa and hell, even Akela had left, and some without a word. She found it easier to trust than when she first arrived in at the dark borders, but it would take much time for her to let go of the insecurity she clutched so tightly. So instead, she approached with a calmer attitude, even though the general coldness had never left her eyes. "I am Nemesis,'' She introduced, as she assumed that's what people did when they meet each other. The Dark Mark was evident on her shoulder, it's reflourished red paint sticking out against the black. "Follow me," She indicated, before turning her back to walk inward onto the territory. As she was sure the female was following her, she began to narrate, "There are many dangerous sites in Blackfeather Woods, and general places you want to stay away from unless of course you would like to have temporary projectile," There was a hint of teasing in her voice but the threat was real. The Weeping Meadow was one nasty place and she reaaaally didn't feel like help nursing someone back to proper health.
the only way to keep your people loyal is
to make certain they fear you more than they do the enemy
