A new scent soon became apparent to the male. He perked his ears as he went but decided not to bother with it just yet. It was behind him, but remained the same distance (it seemed) as it had when he started. It was that of a wolf, sweet as most females were, but he did not pay her any mind yet. Aaron paused to sniff curiously at the ground, his tail waving behind him as he thought. He found no fresh traces of other wolves or creatures, and continued forward again. 

He kept his ears cupped to the side, keeping tabs on the one who was possibly following him; but she was silent (if even following), and he began to grow more intrigued with her. He would not seek her out though, and instead would wait for her to approach him- surely she was looking for something.
