The silence that fell between them was long. Feeling that he had nothing more to say, Reek did not opt to fill the air with useless fluff or small talk. Intead of turning to leave, however, it seemed they had locked themselves into a game of 'who leaves first.' He flashed his companion an awkward glance before conceding his defeat.
