Anwyl waited at the place they had met before, waiting for her to arrive. He was nervous. What if she didn't show? What if he'd put everything together and she didn't want to be with him? He paced back and forth anxiously, the pink flowers he'd picked were starting to grow limp from all his movement. He had it all planned out for her. He'd lead her past a bunch of special things he'd found for her, to the big surprise, the big thing he'd been talking about. He had it all ready, all she had to do was show. And maybe say yes when he popped the big question.
