"Of course!" he replied when Smash asked if she could call him Goobs. It made him feel like they were a little bit more than acquaintances. However, those words were quickly followed by sentences that implied he should fuck right off. He could take a hint. Goober was silly, but he wasn't stupid, and he wouldn't trouble somebody who clearly had a lot on her mind. It wasn't until she asked him about his grand plan that he perked up again.
