March 24th; ending added.
The comment made was undoubtedly blunt, thought any rude undertones had been ignored. She'd naught the time to deal with some unsavoury expressions, offering her focus solely to the task of getting the hell out of there. In some places, she could already feel the mud beginning to dry, causing her skin to crawl and her mind to be filled with... colourful thoughts. Through all of the silent swears clouding her mind, there was a single notion that stood out above all else. It was a curious idea, but the plan not something that was foreign to her. There were times prior in which she'd played the very same con, each of which being far more amusing than the last. Inwardly, she grinned, but on the outside her expression remained neutral. Rather than denying herself the opportunity to obtain some assistance, the woman lessened the space between them further, falling into step near to the male's left flank.
When a name was given, she tucked it away so as not to forget it, before then contemplating whether or not she would give her own. There was a moment in which she'd thought of a false name to give, before dismissing the idea entirely and settling for her own given name. In truth, it didn't matter, she just wasn't up to risking any more than necessary. "Sen," the serpentine wolf had returned, eyeing him for a brief moment before settling her gaze on the path ahead. There was a silence that had slowly descended upon them, but the moment was shattered soon after by Sen's voice. "I have a proposition to make for you," she'd stated, picking up her pace slightly so that she could move out in front of the male. Her goal was to get him to stop walking, to allow her the opportunity to use whatever charms on him that she could act out.
"Both of us are looking to find a way out of here," she began, stating the obvious. As the continued, however, her movements became slowed, circling him with a sultry gaze. "If you can lead me out of this place within the next five to ten minutes, I can promise you a grand reward." By the time she'd finished speaking, the Gorgon had reached his right side. It was there she'd moved her muzzle nearer to the side of his face, the gesture far from threatening, but quite the gamble nevertheless. As was the way of her life, the woman thought only of herself and that which she strived to obtain. That being said, there would most definitely be no prize waiting for dear Thatcher outside of the marsh, just the sight of her silhouette on the horizon.
Rather than taking her up on the offer made, the male had chosen to take another route. He'd left on his own, leaving her there to navigate the marsh by herself. It was a bothersome thing, really, and she was made annoyed by the fact that he'd denied her proposal. Nevertheless, Sen pressed onward through the muck, refusing to stop until she had succeeded in reaching dry, sturdy ground once more.
Notice: Sen's actions and words do not, in any way, reflect my OOC opinion.
