Yet she was - Ragnar may not have known this, but ever since he had made that offer of becoming the second in command, she had been observing him. Both in direct action, when decision making was involved, as well as watching the borders and from afar - how he interacted with other members, how he treated strangers. The wolf-dog could be very quiet and "invisible", if she so desired, and this was a valuable skill, when she wanted to get to know more about the character, when it was not around her, pretending to respect and like her.

She hadn't been very far from borders, when she had heard the howl. Knowing well that Ragnar would probably beat her to it or arrive mere seconds or minutes later, she didn't make haste and this turned out to be a good decision. Because the conversation between him and the female with a spitfire temper had been quite amusing to listen. Her packmate was doing a good job and yet it was nice to see that there was somebody, who didn't fear him for a change. "The pretty boy's name is Ragnar," Pump told, when she had left her hiding place not too far away and approached the two. "My name is Pump and I am in charge here," she went on, giving the female an amused look. "You would be?"
