Ness's ears twitched faintly as the wolf commented to himself, his deep voice pensive and referring to Sebastian in blatant recognition. Her face didn't change, though she smiled cheekily as the ashen male affirmed that he was the father of her southbound friend. "Meetin' the pops," she admired aloud. "Whew. This is all happening so fast." A poor joke that would have been better made had Sebastian actually been there. She didn't seem to notice her own oddity; or she didn't care. "No. I'm from Moonspear— name's Ness, by the way— but I met him when he was just beginning to scope out a place."

She eyed Sebastian's father, wondering but not skeptical for any reason. "Where are you from? You guys have a spat or something to make him leave?" she asked candidly.
