as she passed among the trees, hosannah did not feel any better. even the bare glimpses of sunlight she surreptitiously witnessed did not ease the worries in her heart, and for that she felt guilty. her lord was here with her, even in this troubling time, this moment of indecision and alienation. if she but look for him, seek him out as she was meant to, then she knew that things would right themselves. but for the time being hosannah was doubtful; she focused upon the task of finding a new place to sleep - without the aid of the daystar - and soon was busying herself to the extreme. her trek seemed monotonous to any outsider giving witness to her - she stopped at the base of one large tree, wondering if the spacious roots would be adequate cover for her tiny self, and then moved on. she stopped next when the tangled branches and clustered trunks became too dense to pass, and wondered if this would make a suitable home; more open, but guarded on every side by the dark trees of her new home. with a sigh, the woman pressed onward -- oblivious to the entity which had taken a shine to her, watching from the grey and the dark -- and she delved deeper through the blackfoot.
