Emberflame Ridge She appears in his dreams

Keeping this a bit vague because my thread with Desna is still ongoing.

With the news Desna brought to the grotto of Saena's birth, Reek wanted to run straight to the maplewood to see his pups, but as soon as he was left alone, he realized he could do no such thing. Reality had a way of leveling the initial high, and Reek found himself cascading into another hard low. From Spring's reaction to seeing Reek after being caught snooping around Redtail Rise, Reek expected to be met with hostilitiy upon the border of his former claim. He would wait to avoid such conflict— when the time was right, he would speak to Saena alone.

Even still, it was not the threat of conflict that kept Reek from the maplewood to see his pups (while it was indeed a factor), but it was Tavi's ongoing disappearance that kept him at bay. He couldn't bring himself to walk into a potentially dangerous situation while the other alpha of the grotto was unaccounted for. One disaster had to be sorted first before Reek could address the next.

And so, he headed south, towards the mountain range that seperated the north from the south. He scaled the wooded ridge and stopped his forward push at it's peak. From there, he had nearly a full view of the Taiga. He settled to his haunches and howled once more. The message was the same as the last.
