Redhawk Caldera Meet the new kid (adult)

Elwood chuckled and nodded his head. He completely agreed with what Ashmedai said -- although the Alphas would be glad to know that their subordinate was pulling his own weight, it would take time and effort to prove his worth. From what he could tell, though, the petite male was well on his way. He didn't seem to let his size hold him down.

"You're exactly right, but brownie points can't hurt," he teased good-naturedly as they strolled away from the Redhawks' den. He stopped short when Ashmedai suddenly began talking about the grass, his brow quirked in a bemused expression. But when the smaller wolf got to the point, Elwood's tail began to wave.

"So you're a medic?" he asked, his tone eager. Redhawk Caldera had had a handful of healers since its conception, but none of them had stuck around. "Even if you just know some basic stuff, that will be a great help. We don't have a healer at the moment," he said.
