Stoic made loud noises that Solemn understood perfectly fine. He was speaking words that the she-beast spoke. She-beast had a name, Solemn found. It was Zaria. Solemn could not say Zaria, so he did not. Stoic attempted to speak, but it came out as mumbles. He understood that no one else understood his siblings, and assumed no one would pay him any attention. The boy therefore remained quiet. He followed his mother out, staying close to her heels and occasionally nipping at Stoic and Adeline, who were too much for him to handle. He had no words to voice at them, but he knew they knew he thought they were obnoxious.

The boy stood with his now broken family, staring to the new wolves who were before him. So many! He wanted to cry, but did not. Thank goodness too, it would've sounded like 'ohmee!' which is not a real term. He stared in awe, not afraid but not venturing closer. Stoic was unfriendly towards them, but he did not seem threatening at all. Solemn was-- however-- impressed that the other boy could make noises that sounded like Zaria's. Solemn wondered if he had practiced.
