Pump frowned, as she watched Ragnar leave the scene. Even though this situation was resolved, she had a nagging feeling that this was not the first time she would come in conflict with the white beast. He wanted to ascend the ranks quickly, but she wasn't ready to give him, what he wanted. There were a lot of reasons for her to do that and one of them was his overbearing personality. She didn't like to be pushed in making important decisions and as of late she felt like this was just the thing Ragnar was doing. There was an unspoken ultimatum - if she didn't make up her mind soon enough, he would leave, Thistle and whoever wished going with him. If that was to happen - they could bid Horizon ridge a farewell and she would on her own again.

Before leaving, she gave one last long look at Thistle, feeling a little disappointed that by becoming Ragnar's mate she had let him come between them. She was loyal to him first and then only came Pump and the rest of the pack. "Goodnight, Thistle," she said and walked off, having a lot on her mind and for the first time in a long time wishing that she was somewhere else and didn't have to deal with all of the difficulties that came with being a leader.
