Kinta had traveled far from her homeland. The illness that had swept over her pack was far behind her, though she could remember the dying words of her mother. Those words had pushed her to find a place where illness would not cause tragedies. On her journey, she had come across and old wolf who spoke of the Teekon Wilds. She had heard him tell tales, and decided to go to the Northwest Vale. This was where she was going to stay, but she had to get there first. She had decided to go along the coast until she passed all of the pack territories, then travel through the mountains.

That's when she scented another wolf. A she-wolf. She was a loner, and by the smell of it she had a rabbit, and was weak... "No it wouldn't be right, stop thinking like that." She felt the pain in her stomach, but she refused to let herself steal. Maybe she could talk to the she-wolf, and help her. Kinta preferred to be alone, even so, she knew it wouldn't be healthy to stay alone for much longer. Though Kinta refused to admit it to herself, much less others, what Kinta really wanted was a friend. So, because Kinta was downwind it was easy to walk up to the tawny she-wolf, who looked quite frail. Kinta eyed the plump rabbit, but decided to introduce herself. "Hello, I'm Kinta. I wasn't expecting to find someone here."
