Illea had departed from Porcupine Ridge.  She had loved the place, but it just hadn't felt like home to her entirely at it's end.  The reason for that was because all of the wolves that she had considered friends had left, plus the plague of the locusts had made her rather uneasy with trusting her life with wolves she barely knew, since they would have also had to contribute in hunting and Illea didn't know how good they were.  The silent wolf whom she had enjoyed the company of, had perished in a bear attack, which Illea had found incredibally sad.  That wolf named Diane who she had enjoyed once had dissapeared without a trace.  Still what Illea missed most was her friend Vuk.

Illea found herself feeling rather alone once again, like those months she had spent as a lone wolf when she had left Starlit Hills.  Sure, she enjoyed having some fun adventures on her durations as a lone wolf, but this time she just felt sad and extremely lonley.  Illea hoped she would find Vuk soon so that she could figure out where her friend had gone off too and what had happened.
