Lost Creek Hollow Wild things

Spur's brow furrowed at her brother's declaration. She wasn't stupid, yet the logic somehow escaped her and she felt the need to insist, "Nu-uh! I was right here the whole time!" Well, she had been traipsing through the hollow with her mother, of course, but at no point had Larkspur been lost and in need of finding. The same couldn't be said for the creek, however; it was right there in the name!

All this was said with a cheeky, amenable smile, of course. Spur brushed her nose over Silas's cheek and said, "Wanna play in the water?" before quickly shooting the nearby Harlyn and asking, "Mommy, can we play in the water?"
