With the swarm of the locusts stripping the Tosings of their lush green, Samuel had done his best to provide for Liri and himself. He had lost most of his weight already, living on dead bugs wasn't very helpful.

samuel could feel tears build up in his gray eyes, he was able to arrive to see a man below that was weak and brittle. Gotham. Samuel thought he got along with him just fine, but that was just Sam's view. He let out a whine to show he was there, striding closer to nudge the shoulder of Gotham with his muzzle.
"Gotham?" He asked, deciding to sit down and give a sad frown to him.
