Glu knew that it was unlikely that he would be able to get her to follow him all the way back to the Sleeping Dragon’s land. Her silence spoke more than he would have imagined. It was dangerous to be wandering the beachside without anyone else. His sharp citrine gaze sought to find anyone who might have found themselves there, but he only saw the pale woman at his side. While he was not a large creature, he was quite precocious in battle.
