He frowned heavily at her, and she had nothing to do but to frown back. Her tail lashed in disapointment. She came all this way to see him, and all he does was frown. Well, she'd definitely forgotten what a great big brother he was.
He told her that he was claiming land somewhere on the shoreline, where all the Cairns felt most at home. It didn't surprise her. Back at home he'd always voiced his hopes of claiming Warsaw as his own eventualy. When he was chased off, Ishild had been sure that he would be an ambitious wolf, and that he was. "Good for you," she mumbled, glancing around for just a moment.
The sun was beginning to set now, getting ever closer to the ends of the earth, as it seemed. Soon, it would tuck itself behind the ocean and sleep the night away, only to rise once again. The light cast eery shadows into the forest behind them, and giving the sea grasses uproportionally large shadows that lay upon the sand. She returned her gaze back to Skellige to listen to what he had to say.
The name shocked her. Ksenia. She was here? She couldn't help but feel her stomach churn. Skellige had attempted to murder her, which was wrong, but Ksenia herself was wrong in so many ways. The hair along her spine prickled in both anger and confusion as he asked her if she followed her. She doubted that her brother would believe her even if she told the truth, but Ishild would tell the truth anyways. "No! I didn't know she was here!" The young girl cried. Soon, curiosity overtook her. "What'll you do when you find her?" She had to ask. Ishild was never really close to Ksenia. None of them were, she was too cruel. She bet it wouldn't hurt anyone to see her dead.
