The masked female met him with words that seemed congratulatory but also were spoken in a sense that they did not seem to matter as they fell from her lips. With that, the dark wraith did not opt to continue the conversation further. If she should inquire about his aspirations for claiming land in the wilds, he would provide her with only the information that was necessary. Though he would have liked to trust Ishild, he did not know that she wouldn’t race to Ksenia in hopes of gaining some favor in their pale sibling’s eyes. The sea king knew that he would be required to act with enough tact to keep himself safe. When the time came, he would allow Ksenia to approach him.
Upon asking about their sibling, the fel-eyed female seemed to behave in a manner that suggested she had not been aware that Ksenia had arrived in the wilds. Skellige eyed her with a hard stare before resolving to believe her words; Ishild very rarely spoke with such passion, and if she should insist to him so powerfully that she did not know of the Warsaw queen’s arrival, he would accept it. It did not make the brute any less wary of the girl, though. She was sly as could be and quick to turn on others in order to gain the benefits of their role.
When she inquired to him what he would do if he found her, the silver-ribbed wraith heaved a heavy sigh and peered out across the water with a quiet contemplation. “I have already seen her,” he admitted with a peculiar expression on his dark features. The inky man then turned his skull back to face his sibling and he narrowed his brows thoughtfully. “I need to know what she is planning Ishild,” he then prompted with a quiet determination in the syllables of his words.
A thought struck him in that moment. Eyeing her with a dark gaze and clicking his tongue thoughtfully against the roof of his mouth, the sea king breathed once more before speaking. “You have always been good at getting information,” he prodded in a suggestive tone. A single brow quirked over his dark gaze and he peered at her, waiting to see if she would catch on.

what would an ocean be without a monster lurking in the dark?
it would be like sleep without dreams
it would be like sleep without dreams
