Burke quirked up his lips towards the other into a bit of a smile. He didn't do it often but this male had protected his children with them. "Well, I liked that you were there to help out," Burke spoke to the male.

His large frame sat down too as the male spoke about responsibility. He nodded. Burke was a counselor at his previous pack, and he tried to maybe counsel this male a bit. "Higher ranks come with more responsibility. However. I can understand that you don't want the protection of the whole pack on your pack. But that won't happen. I am still the alpha and making sure everyone is safe comes down to me," he explained.

Burke cleared his throat. "However if you are interested in being a guardian than I could give you some tips or we could patrol the border sometimes," he offered. The topic moved to Vassago. Burke started nodding lightly. "He is alright. Mostly shocked I believe. At least he looks even more like his father now with the tail and all that."
