Blackfeather Woods Where'd you guys go?

Kendra could almost feel how awkward two of her three older siblings felt. The young girl watched them how they approached or tried to and then backed off again when Cicero came in for comfort. She didn't need comfort. She didn't want a pity party. Her siblings never cared, they were always too busy with other things. Only Cicero had taken the time to teach her things. She pushed herself to her feet suddenly and dashed out of the den.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!," she yelled to them. She was certain that they would forget about her too, all too obsessed with their own ambitions. She knew how power hungry the oldest was, obsessed with himself. How he promised he would be around when she was a few months old and after that she hadn't seen him no more. Her sister who could not even talk to her and then the youngest that did keep his promise. Yet the girl was so broken she didn't want to believe his intentions were true. The girl ran off, she didn't want them to pity her. She had a feeling her father wouldn't leave without a reason... Right?
