It was obviously Mother's choice if they went or not, just as it had been when Ms.Pyx had offered them a place in Moonspear. Jaida had been afraid to go to Moonspear in fear there would be more males there but now found she wanted to go join this group. They were loners like them, it made sense that the pair would go with them.
