Silver Creek Sunshine

Speaking to each wolf was slowly drawing a better picture in his mind. Even Laika still seemed to harbor some caring for Reek. He was beginning to realize that he couldn't possibly paint the brute as a villain. He clearly was not the same male that had betrayed Heston's pack. He couldn't know that her reason for not wanting Reek around centered directly around Saena and his children, so he merely thought it was still because of the betrayal.

"I'm sorry I brought it up, Laika." His voice was serious. "Sorry that it happened to you all, too." He offered her a slight smile and nodded in response to her thanks. Once he was accepted he would be there for Silver Creek. He hoped to prove himself a loyal member...perhaps he'd even be everyone's favorite. That was his own ego wishing, though.
