Chimera Fields Clear the area

Ezekiel was returning from his trip to Neverwinter Forest with some sad news. Stoic had indeed not been there. Adeline would be disappointed, and he hated to disappoint his little buddy, but he wouldn't lie and say that he knew Stoic to be ok. He was the kind of guy that believed kids should know the truth, and that they shouldn't be sheltered from it. Sheltering only made for more hurt later on. He'd tell Adeline that he hadn't found her brother himself, but that he did try and hope that Stoic was alright. 

As the Goliath of a boy walked along, he suddenly caught onto a familiar scent. Fury enveloped him for a moment, for he recognized this scent fully. It was that ghostly white bitch who had attacked him a while back. He'd been at her mercy then, but not again. Something, an old urge that he'd suppressed for a long time rose inside of him. He longed to fight. A real fight. Not out of protecting his pack of his life, but just to fight. The soldier was speaking to him, it wanted to kill her. Kill her he wouldn't do, but see her beg he wouldn't mind.

When he came to find her, she was lying on a bed of wild flowers. He grunted to alert her he was there. The soldier would've simply ambushed her where she lay, but Ezekiel would fight fairly if he could. Lips curled back he snapped at her, You are close to my home. His words were vile, but he used them to justify his cruelty towards her. However he was more trying to convince himself than her. The reason he sought to fight her was not because she was too close, though she was for his own liking, but because he wanted revenge. Revenge was a fatal flaw that the soldier had left inside of him.
