Hushed Willows i won't let you fall tonight

Crows?  Probably.  The were both black and all birds had those beady eyes that looked to her like endless pits straight to the very depths of a fiery hell.  That was overly dramatic and something she'd never voice aloud, of course.  Banner shrugged and lfted her brows at the same time as if to say, "sure?" but decided not to actually voice her thoughts.  If Ghost decided to bring her crow feathers she'd likely treasure them just as she did the current prizes in her tiny collection.  Moreso, even.  In her mind, the soft crane feathers were elevated above the blue ones she'd found (by pure dumb luck!) and that had everything to do with the male who had gifted them to her, however unknowingly at the time.

The smile he gave was equal parts soothing and handsome.  Wait, handsome?   The dark female blinked owlishly as red flags fluttered wildly in her mind.  There was a notable absence of imagined siren blares - that was a plus.  When was the last time she thought anyone was handsome?  Aside from a sarcastic jab at her brother, Banner had never used the word before.  Not that she could recall, anyway.  It was a damn good thing she didn't blurt out her thoughts too often.  Only when it came to ravens, apparently.  She swallowed again and closed her eyes to ground herself.  Easy, girl.  Too many emotions at once could spell disaster for her.

"Where will you.." she began, eyes opening once more after she'd regained control of her own mind.  Go?  Stay?  Oh, how she wanted him to stay.  That seemed awfully forward coming from a woman who spent most of her time keeping everyone else at arm's length.  "You could stay here," she offered in her best attempt at nonchalance, which was apparently a low and rather quiet affair.
