Shalon walked thae familiar path toward the stream, the mid day heat beat against he back as she walked. She stones along the edge of the stream were hot to the touch as she approached the gently running water. Dipping her head, her tongue lapping the still cold water that came down from the top of the mountain. It was refreshing on such a hot day.
