He followed dutifully at the heels of his mentor, eyes bright as he traversed the tunnels with no hint of fear in his sapphire gaze. Potema spoke of a goddess, one that controlled the darkness and secrets and shady things. Seff found himself intrigued by this fact; he had found that Raas was not, in fact, everywhere. His conversation with Reek had faded from his mind, but he remembered the details well enough.

But Raas was not in the tunnels. Nor in the shadows, the caves, under the thick canopy that blocked out the Daystars light. But this Mephala...she interested the boy. Maybe she too, would watch over him, as Raas was supposed to do. Beside, there were always shadows everywhere, weren't there? The sun didn't shine during the night. All this Seff processed, and decided that he would learn more of this Mephala. The glowing mushrooms amazed him, and he gentle reached up a paw and batted at one, watching it swing as POtema's laughter swirled around him. 

"Moon-lady? Can you tell me about...Mephala? Maybe a...story?" he asked, gaze flickering to her quickly before fastening back on the swinging tendril, amazed, but also very intrigued by this Mephala.
