He could only hope that the truth had been given, and that it was the very reason she now regarded him without the ire of a wolf who's alpha was being threatened by an unknown entity...

He supposed that he wouldn't be unknown to her for very much longer.

"Aye," he rumbled, inclining his scarred muzzle once in a slow sort of nod. He watched her a beat longer, blinking his one eye in naked observation of her, and then he inhaled in quiet thoughtfulness. "Care to join me for a while?"
