oops.

apparently his platitudes fell short -- as did his looks -- no sooner had he finished the word 'cutie' did doe let loose her fury. murgash, if he was capable of regret, only felt its' sting for a moment -- and only because he felt sorry for himself. not the other way around.

he had decided in that split moment that 'cutie' wasn't the right adjective for the enraged female anyway -- at least not when she wore such a contorted look of ire on her visage. he flagged his tail somewhat doubtfully and canted his ugly muzzle to the side, the dopey grin still infuriatingly wide across his muzzle.

"oi knows jus' de thingy te cheer ye up!" he declared, backpedaling as if eager to do her bidding. in reality, he was just eager to put distance between the two.. especially if she was really angry. he wasn't really planning on getting her food, but if she bought his ruse maybe he could disappear while she cooled off..

because women worked that way, right?

her morph from red-hot enraged siren to piteously wailing and helpless woman instantly mollified murgash -- at least enough for him the change his plans of abandoning her. "wot is it yer em-ee-nence wishes for? ole murgy will get it for ye." for a price -- but he'd mention that later.
